How to build a raised bed from pallet wood last weekend i reassembled this wood into a raised bed. as before, different plank heights.you might find that some planks are “higher” than others, in the sense that when you put three or four together to make a side of the bed, the result is also higher.. You will now need to cut the wood into planks for the raised bed. it is best to have a circular saw for this but a hand saw will also work. cut the wood into planks of 3 or 4 inch strips.. Wood is a very versatile material for vegetable gardens. whether it is used to create raised beds, the edges of paths or a frame for protective netting, wood is the natural choice for many gardeners..
